    Self control...

So I stroll into ammo bros in cerritos to browse and I see a cz75 compact as well as a p01 and sp01. My wife could tell I was a bit interested in the compact and she says "why don't you get it?"

I thought to myself, I always wanted one, but that kinda dwindled after getting my Baer pii, which turned me into a 1911 nut. So I said, nah, it's ok.

They have it at a good price too, but since I shoot mostly 45 nowadays, I felt it wouldn't be a great decision to get it.

Anybody else ever skip on something they wanted even though the stars aligned and it was blessed by the significant other? I honestly don't even feel bad about it, lol.

They also had a Sig p226 stainless in 40, good god that gun is sexy. Pricey as hell though.

So this happened and you refrained from buying it. This is classified in the realm of gun enthusiasts as a super power. You are now a super hero.

I think you might need to go shopping for a cape.

Every time I have more than $500 disposable cash... a new gun appears. I have to avoid every gun shop when I have money, no self control.

I had self control before SSE was ending. Now it's futile to fight.

Self control for me is kind of like caffeine in 7Up:

What is this "self control" of which you speak?

I sure hope you don't come to regret passing on that pistol later.

Yeah, I am kind of in deep **** right now, I have 600 bucks in my pocket just hanging out, I just bought a new SA 1911 SS Loaded last week, and I am shaking trying to stay away from the gun shops.

Yeah I passed on a cz P09 in fde for $720. It was in my hands and ready to be purchased. Decided truthfully it was not needed. I didn't want some law scare or wanting to be the cool guy, influence me to spend money when it's not needed.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

You, sir, have clearly been replaced by an alien pod person from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and have to be put down before more of your kind take over the world!

if you're still thinking about the pistol now, you are not in the clear yet.

that pistol might still end up on your night stand in a couple of weeks. dont ask me how i know.
