If all my guns were purchased because of "need" I wouldn't have the amount of guns I have.

It sure was tempting lol, but yeah, I figure I don't shoot 9mm much nowadays so it'd just sit in the safe. Besides, I can always shoot my wife's SP-01.

That's quite some serious gun control op.

Best solution: Buy it for the wife for a present, birthday, Christmas, anniversary, etc. Win-win.

I haven't been to Ammo brothers since they were selling 3k 6920's I'd really hate to give them any money anyways. I'd be surprised if any of their weapons are competitively priced I rarely saw firearms there below MSRP.

Quite the opposite lately. I keep finding great deals on guns that you just don't see around very often. My wife has been asking me to save for a Jeep and I keep telling her this is the last one for a while. Haha. Well at least the new one is one she wants.

As Tok36 mentioned at top of thread, you must have some type of super power , please teach me as I have zero self control. Told my girlfriend the Shield I SSEd at beginning of year was last handgun I am ever buying (she is not opposed to me buying at all heck it's my money but just told her that).

Few mos later I had plenty of 9mms but only a SW1911 and Glock 30sf for .45s. For handguns I consolidated to just 9mm and .45 w exception of a couple revolvers. So w only 2 .45s and a ton of 9mms I decided I needed another .45 and I went big, found a great guy on Calguns selling a LNIB Wilson Combat CQB .45 and jumped on it. While doing the ppt at LGS down the street from my house I saw a Beretta 92 Inox on display and simply said I'll take that too. Already have regular made in Italy Beretta 92.

Then for some reason got in my head I 'needed' a Sig X5 9mm so few weeks ago SSEd one and shipped to local ffl where I will dros when I am back in country in 2 weeks. Last thing needed was another 9mm but could not resist. And now have in my head I want HKUSP45 when 30 days up on the X5. It never ends.

i've walked away from many firearms that I wanted to add to my stable

waited so long for the M&P Shield, that, by the time it was available I was no longer interested...when i get "into" a gun i tend to start doing lots of research on it, and, sometimes the information i get might turn me off

or, it turns me on even more and I have to have it

You creating this thread means there is a small piece of you that still wants it.

Drive over, buy it, and post a picture already.

LOL, nah I'm over it, like I said I'm mostly into my .45s. However, after seeing that p226 stainless, I think it was an X5 since it was $1600, I want a P220 match elite again... SSE deadline coming up

I am not familiar with the word "needed" in the firearms community.
