Like tsoiky said, no muzzle flip at all. Went through 50 rounds on Saturday and all I can say is WOW. Great feel and with the trigger stop adjusted properly, you can really push the rounds out quickly and accurately. The reset is a little weird in that you don't feel or hear it at all. That will take a little getting used to but in my short experience, the reset is very small.

Is it any louder than normal? Any extra residue on the slide or front sight after shooting?

Not any louder than my P99 but the barrel near the ports and the ports on the slide where pretty dirty. You can really see it on the barrel because it is stainless.

To me it is defined as nonexistent

Take a few rounds to get the feel of where it is but then it's on like Donkey Kong

If the gun can handle it, the Apex RAM works well for sound and slight feel.

The M&P's are great, but I don't think you'll be able to win a division where everyone is using $4k Infinitys
