    M&P Shield in 9MM

I was looking for a good carry pistol: The Shields were on sale for 429.00 so I bought one. Well, it seems I bought the right gun. It's very slim and compact, plus it fits well in a normal size hand. I took it to the range and the accuracy was right on at 10-15 yards. I did find that I had to put my finger all the way up to the first knuckle so the pistol wouldn't pull to the right. This is something you will have to practice with any handgun so it doesn't move when you fire it. I hope this has helped someone looking for what I think is a Quality carry pistol.

I just shot mine for the first time last week. Great little gun for the money. Not the best gun on the market but for its intended purpose, CCW, a solid choice.

I've got my non-safety model at the LGS waiting in queue to start Dros on the 21st. I can't wait until it gets out of jail and I can have it added to my ccw list.

I've ordered both a shtf gear holster and a 3 speed holster for my shield. Il post some reviews once I get the shield.

Looking forward to it. Thanks for the review.

Mine has the manual safety on the side. I like this because I feel safe having a round chambered and pistol ready while it's in the holster.

I let my girlfriend see and hold mine for the first time yesterday (I got mine Tuesday).

She said and I quote, "what do you mean your new gun?? I'm keeping it."

I tackled her @$$ and took it back lol

Still haven't shot it, but as fat as fit and feel I'm as happy with it as I thought I would be first holding it in the gun shop a few months ago. I have a feeling one is in my GF's near future as well.

Is this a gun to throw in your pocket?

I'm loving my off-roster 9mm shield with no safety. Just got it out of jail 3 days ago and put 150 rounds of Winchester white box thru it. Very accurate. it's my first gun and loving it! I've also shot a friends 9mm shield who has a modified trigger but I find the stock trigger to be enjoyable as I am practicing slow trigger pulls to train myself to NOT react before the gun goes off. =)

You have a thread opened a while back asking about pocket guns. Do you seriously have a problem with reading comprehension? Go to the gun store and see if they will fit in your pocket. Not everyone wears the same pants/shorts. Obviously, I can fit mine in my cargo shorts and pants but YMMV.

SoCalIdiot, here are just a couple of your recent posts about M&P's:

According to you, it sounds like a gun to throw away !!!

Proof (once again) that you have no clue what you're talking about... and should NOT be handing out advice to others on calguns. SoCalIdiot strikes again !!!!

OP, great choice... Love the Shield !!!

In it's size class... I think it's the most solid choice out there at the moment.
