    short range report glock 42

Took the 42 out for the first time. Did 150 rounds of fiocchi I'm sure I spelled that wrong and followed up with some critical defense that I'm gunna use for carry. One ftf and that was it. Assuming it's cause its brand new. Accurate gun and very comfortable. I enjoy it more than my bodyguard 380.

    Have a good one guys

My wife purchased one. We have run at least 400 rounds through it, no issues other than the Ammo Bros crap. Tula, winchester, fiocchi, dynamic, precision, HPR, all ran fine. Only issue were some cheap brass bulk from ammo bros. Locked back about every 20 rounds. Every other ammo worked perfect (tried a bunch). I like it so much I am thinking about getting one for myself before the SSE sunsets. BTW my wife has small hands and trying to find something that she felt really comfortable shooting was a problem. This was the first pistol that she truly felt "one with". Most comfortable .380 I've ever shot.
BTW: Carried a 642 for years and thinking about swapping out on lic for the G42... blasphemy, I tell you !.. that G42 is real flat in my front pocket, you know not much extra room there, big hands...

Have an appointment next week to swap my 442 out for one. I like em so much I bought a 2nd 42 as a spare. Nov. Dros.
Qualified Monday and 72 rounds, went into one big hole. (They also work well with XXL hands)

Also swapping the Shield for the 27.

Have had a G22 for 20 yrs, but the Gen4 27, 30S and 42 are converting me into a fan boy. LOL LOL

Never thought I would say that after being hooked on Classic SIGS for a couple decades. Am attracted by the light weight & accuracy.
Hard combo to beat for CCW. 42/ 27/ 22

I would still keep the wheel gun. 38spl +p over an extra round and possible malfunctions of a semi 380 all day long.

7+1 (mag guts follower) & works better in the front pocket.
The 442 is a great gun, mines a nickel no dash I picked up in 1993.
This just works better for me. Not everyone..

BTW, I am never getting rid of my older Smith wheel guns!
Grabbed a TRR8 earlier in the yr. Its a fricken laser.........
