Looking in the crystal ball, I would expect to see one eventually, at least in limited production. For no other reason than to be considered for military contract trials. Militaries love an on/off switch. There were even a very limited number of HK P7M13's made with a manual safety. I would prefer my VP9 have a P30s type safety also.
