Is there a better polymer .45 than the HK45? If so, what is it and why?

FNX-45T is the only competition in my opinion

Hard to beat the option to add an RMR to the top

Im surprised I haven't seen anyone say the Glock 30 yet. you really cant beat that gun for a polymer .45 acp, and I don't really care for glocks, but that one is in a realm of its own.

I have a 30s and it's not a soft shooter. For what it is, it's unparalleled. In terms of shooting pleasure I rank my G45's...G41>G21>G30s.

This. Good ergos, great trigger, reliability, and resale value.

I have (and like) a USPf in 45---I just can't seem to miss with this pistol, so it remains in my lineup (got it years ago)---however, when it came time for a more compact poly pistol in 45, I went with the 45C and also like it quite a lot---shoots very well too...

Bought an HK45 a few months ago. I love it, with the exception of that damned trigger guard groove.

Still prefer my 3rd Gen G21 over it.

If you said price is no matter, G21/41 with full custom job, zevtech. That would be the nicest striker fired 45 probably.

Full Size USP .45, best semi-auto handguns ever made. IMO

This quickly turned into a "post the name of the polymer 45 you like best" thread.

Or, in some cases, a "post something other than a 45" thread. LOL

Better? In terms of reliability, no. Capacity, yes. Mechanical accuracy? Well, yes, if you want to include polymer framed SVI pistols and other high end comp guns.

I have owned or currently own just about everything listed in this thread, or at least shot them. XD, FNX, shot 'em. I don't like them.

                        I own an HK45, HK45C, USP 45 Expert, and a Mk. 23 SOCOM.

                        I used to own a G21, G21SF, G30, USP45, etc.

My favorite to shoot is the Mk. 23. The gun I shoot most accurately amongst those is the USP45 Expert.

But the gun that feels best in my hand is the HK45.

And the one I carry is the HK45C. I feel it's the best all-around gun. A great shooter, but also a great carry gun, great nightstand gun... it's the 45 caliber HK to own, if you can only own one. In my opinion, anyway.

If we are talking about polymer framed 45ACP pistols under a thousand bucks, the HK45 is my favorite to shoot.

I'd take an SVI Infinity of some kind any day.

NOPE.... The HK 45 or USP 45 or for CCW the Compact USP 45... I like the USP 45. I love the 21 gen 2.. but it's basic which isn't a bad thing...
