    What would you pick

First I can't have both and can only pick one of them. Shot them both and like them both.

If you had SP101 as a choice I'd pick that..

How come you want the LCR in 357?

If you can only have one , you should consider all the minor details.

                1. You going to ccw?
                2. Which was more accurate ?
                3. Weight
                4. Reliability / track record
                5. Mods
                6. Do you plan on buying anything next year that will nullify or duplicate the existence of any of the current two you plan on getting?

I'm not voting because only you (the OP) know the answer. I've shot the .357 LCR and IMO it's a pretty good CCW belly revolver. A weapon that is limited to about human sized targets out to 15 feet or so due to its rudimentary snubbie sight channel, but that has some real power behind it. What it's not is a fun-gun or range toy or SHTF weapon. It's just not accurate enough.

On the other hand the Citadel is a pretty darned nice entry level 1911. It's accurate enough and has a plenty good enough trigger to be a really fun range toy. And it's reliable and hard hitting enough to make a great home defense and SHTF weapon. It's also highly tunable and upgradeable. It's just not as easy for an average sized guy to conceal under summer clothes but with the right holster and clothing selection it can be done.

Figure out what role you want the handgun to play and then pick accordingly.
