1911 Recommendation?

There are more guns than just the model 1911 and the manufacture Glock.

Most new comers can't seem to grasp this concept.

If the OP is stuck on a 1911, there is one to fit about any budget.

The Sig 1911 is great if you don't mind the non traditional look and external extractor. I enjoy mine very much.

Sig and Smith have external extractors, so they're not really 1911s
