that would have been my solution, but I didn't want to potentially one dayfind out the hard way that the safety had been engaged somehow, and that my method of training with it never dealt with flipping off a safety that I can't get to with my trigger finger. So, I passed on the "safety" shield and picked up other firearms. when they did finally release the no-safety shield, I did pick one up.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

$460. OTD!? You mind sharing with us which gun store this is in the bay area? Digital Instincts is the only one I know selling at reasonable price, $490. OTDWell turns out I am going to have to go with the safety. My FFL could only find the one with a safety in stock, and didn't know when could get the one without.
Wouldn't want to miss an SSE slot waiting for the no safety.
At $460 OTD I don't see how I can go wrong. May have the safety but at least it won't have the indicator. I hate the look of that thing.Comment

I have the safety and the rooster tail. I like both features. I like the visual indicator. Neither interfere with the operation of the firearm, it's just a mental block some may have against government authority.
I'm glad I'm able to own one here at all. Could be worse, like in DC or NYC.Comment
