Thanks for all of the replies. I put some oil on the tigger bar and the connector and it got a bit smoother and the break is getting crispier. I'll just put more time on it and see if gets better. If not, I can always make slight mods to it but for now, the 34 and I just need to get to know each other a lot better

It's going to feel like mush until you physically adjust the trigger bar & safety plunger, and change out the springs.

Keep in mind it's a new trigger and will smooth over with time. But What you are experiencing primarily is that the 34 has the "-" 3.5lb connector. That is what you are feeling. Buy a standard connector and it will feel the same as your other glock's.

Not necessarily. My Gen4 34 came with a 5.5 lb trigger according to the label on the box. Granted, I have not taken the gun apart to confirm, but the "-" connector may not be an absolute.

Glock seems to have changed the trigger specs over time. I know then Gen 3 used to have a 3.5lb trigger. And I 'think' I once saw their site showing Gen 4 with the 5.5.

It was static shooting but you're right...signal goes off and it does go away. This is going to be my competition gun when I do compete so great point!

So quick overthinking your trigger, and get to the competitive shooting part. When you have 60,70, 80 plus transitions per match the difference between a 3.5 lb trigger and a 5 lb trigger means nothing. Not to mention if you walk by a target and take 2 mikes and a failure to engage, thats 30 points down! I have 9 Glocks, all set up the same, theoricatlly, same but different. My G17L has the longest pull but the shortest break and reset, where my G19 breaks early. All the rest are somewhere inbetween. Again, after the beep, it means nothing. Grip it and Rip it! And keep in mind that mastering the fundamentals of stance, grip, sight picture and trigger control far, far outweigh magic modifications. There is no difference between you and a USPSA Grand Master, except, they do the fundamentals about 10, 100, 1000 times better....
