Anyone build on in a caliber other than .223/ 5.56?
I keep going back in forth in the middle of builds, 9mm, 223/556, & 300blk

I love the idea of 6.8 SPC II but I don't need a completely new caliber to reload for.

That's why I like 300 blackout, 223 cases chopped and 308 bullets, so I already have everything I need. 300 blackout does great in pistol lengths. I've been throwing the idea around in my mind but I would just go 16" since I have some 30 rounders. 10 rounds and a bullet button just makes me depressed.

There should magazine well adapters so 9mm mags will properly fit... but someone who actually has experience with them will hopefully come along soon.

Anyone? Are there 80% lowers that can use glock mags?

I researched quite a bit since your question cus I would be interested too... But it seems like there are manufacturers that make lowers for Glock mags but no 80%ers and no magwell adapters that are sold individually.

You can always do the lonewolf lowers and either SSE it if it's going to be an AR pistol or just buy the 16" model and not worry about SSE. That seems to be the best I came up with.

Tacsol just released a 22lr pistol / sbr upper. I'll be getting one on Friday. Can't wait to shoot it.

                I shoot .223 and .22LR in my 7.5" pistol with a .22LR bolt.

building a 9mm ar pistol currently.
Competition is where you find out you're slow, can't see well, are not accurate, have poor gun handling, can't visualize, have equipment that doesn't work and either accept it OR DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

My second choice would be .300 Blackout, but it just doesn't have the terminal balistics I desire (for hunting).

If you will actually be shooting living creatures at 100 yard+ ranges, I think 6.8spc is the only way to go on an ar15 pistol. Under 100 yards (or suppressed) .300 would also function. Or get the Bison Armory 6.8 spc subsonic barrel like mine and you can use both supersonic and subsonic loads. If I had the cash, I'd be building an 8 in 6.8 spc pistol right now.

If its just a range toy, get whichever caliber you can find and/or afford ammo for and have fun using it.
                    I officially hate you.

My 6.8 16" upper is from Bison. That thing is a beautiful beast. And it would solve my issue with wanting two weapons in a caliber. DAMMIT! This is gonna be spendy.
