    Shield range report

I shot 100 rounds at 7-10 yards. I have never had any FTFs or FTEs. Actually no malfunctions of any kind except the mag release button rusting. I love this pistol. I am pushing 4 or 5 k through it so far, I lost count.

The Shield has been a great gun for us. I really like selling them because I know they won't come back with issues.

The Trijicon HDs have finally started to ship and we usually have customers putting them on the pistol before they leave once they see them on a gun.

    Great shooting!

It is a great little gun! Like more every day. Thanks. I had a couple of flyers, but things are starting to get better with the Shield. I am really impressed with how accurate it is.

Nice shooting. I hope after my Shield breaks in, it'll shoot like that. I've only got around 20-30 rounds through it mainly because I hate shooting it. The trigger on my Shield is pure crap and I really hate shooting it. I have to concentrate to get decent groups whereas I can rattle off rounds with my Glock 19 to do the same thing. Sorry, rant off on my Shield...

My Shield has a terrific trigger and has so far (about 500 rounds; one case of 9mm range reloads) been 100% reliable. It is about as accurate as a pistol with this length barrel can be. I am completely happy with this pistola as a range gun and more importantly as my main carry gun.

Not really comprable due to barrel length. My shield trigget is meh but will do groups like that all day if I do my job

Maybe the problem is you trying to shoot it like your Glock, instead of you adapting to how the Shield needs to be shot/held.

Wow great shooting. I need some practice, badly. You've made it clear that I have no excuses about the trigger or accuracy to fall back on

Thanks for the comments. The trigger has smoothed out dramatically from when I bought it. I don't think of the Shield as a range gun, but it's as accurate as I am for sure, and plenty accurate for a CCW gun. It's definitely not a G19 though. I only wish I could have shot the M&P 40c as well.

Don't have the M&P40c but I do have two Ruger SR40c pistolas, one of which is a carry gun on my license. These are terrific shooters and I liked my first one so well I picked up a second copy. Heavier and thicker than the Shield though, which is why I more often carry the Shield.

Did your mag release button really rust?

Why did you only shoot the black side of the target?
