I have two other families, one another calgunner and one a co worker who have standing invites to fort up over here is things get squirrely. I've got it pretty good. Timber for days, deer are laying in my yard 24/7, and if you had 2 folks with long guns you'd have to cross decent open spaces to get to my house so it wouldn't be hard to defend.

Plus wife cans, gardens decent, and I have 2 cases of spam from Costco which is enough calories to keep 7 people alive for 64 years.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

How big are the cases? You mean pallets?

9mm, the convertible comes with a second cylinder designed for 9mm, not quite as accurate(in my experience) as the .357, but works well enough

How about bug out machine pistol, outside of cali.

Inside of Cali, probably Glock 17/19 with 22 lr kit. 9mm for bad guys, 22lr kit for hunting.

64 years of nothing but spam is a tougher condition compared to SHTF

My advice is to invest in very good holsters for each and every one of your handguns - even if you never plan to carry. In an emergency a handgun that you can't draw from quickly, and safely and comfortably carry all day without loosing it or having it fall down your pants is little more than an expensive paper weight. You don't have to spend a ton of money, used Comp-Tac, Bladetech, and Crossbreed holsters show up on ebay all the time.

Concealed: Kimber Pro Carry II 1911
                      Combat: XD45 4.5"

I also went out and armed the "earthquake kit" / GHB I carry in each car...with...wait for it...HiPoint C9's! Why?

                      1. Cheap - don't care if it gets stolen with the car
                      2. It goes 'Bang!' every time I want it to
                      3. Most likely I will never actually need it for its intended purpose
                      4. Multiple other uses: hammer, brick, can opener, doorstop...

They are... and the P95DC is too. I don't recall ever seeing another polymer so tough that the steel slide rides directly on the polymer like it does on a Ruger P95... doesn't melt, wear, dent, scuff... I know it probably has a ton of fiberglass content, but it is pretty indestructible amazing stuff on the old reliable gun.

My 17+1 P95, Glocks with all regular mag options, .357 revolvers, CZ's and clones are all on the list and I shoot them all well enough. Bug out probably the same as the HD ones - Glock 22 and P95. Would throw in extra barrels and uppers in various calibers for the Glock. SU-16 in a pack and Mossberg pump in the trunk or tool box would be handy too.

So was he shot 7 times by the 4th terrorist because his revolver was out of ammo? If he had a 17 round Glock perhaps he could have taken out the 4th guy as well.

I have holsters and make sweet kydex holsters. I just prefer non-striker fired guns for aiwb carry. Don't wanna blow off my nuts reholstering.
