    Make sure to replace ur fire pin stop with a squared one, and increase ur hammer spring tension. This will slow down ur slide speed considerably to min ur frame wear. I shoot 180gr @ 1500fps, casing lands 3 ft to my right.

      Great advice.

      A heavier hammer (main) spring is a far better way to slow the slide down than just a heavier recoil spring. The recoil spring returns the slide back at an equal force as its outbound direction, which aids in wear and tear. The hammer spring resistance is free, at least from a slide velocity standpoint, nothing is actually free...
