Their warranty is beyond reproach. "No Questions asked"
My wife has the CPX-1 with the safety, and finds the safety guard uncomfortable. They are exchanging it for her, to a model without the safety.

They seem to have a hit or miss reliability record. For a carry pistol, questionable reliability is not good.

Fans got a good one. Detractors got a bad one.

Agreed regarding reliability. My wife's has been to the range every weekend for the last month, and shot ~200 rounds every time without any trouble.

It doesn't compare to her M&Pc however from a quality standpoint, but it shouldn't. They are different price points, as said by OP.

I've read that they have most of the bugs out of the newest generation but that the one bad apple still gets out from time to time.

....It broke:(. About 70 rounds through a mixed box of WWB and TulaBrass and I had a double feed. The slide catch broke, no tension on it at all. So much for the perfect record.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

A guy in my CCW class had a failure on the range and said it was a brand new pistol after they replaced the first one under warranty. He had less than 100rds on it when the new one failed

I've been looking at those also. Do they carry them in your part? Haven't seen then here anywhere.

I doubt you will find many shops; if any, with them in stock. Not too many people in this state are out there looking for them. The FFL's doing the SSE can sell way more of just about any other gun and are putting their money into those.

Don't know much about them but I saw them on gallery of guns yesterday and the have a no BS replacement warranty! Even if stolen send them a police report and they will replace the pistol for free! Was looking in to them for another made in the USA pistol and if you didn't know SCCY pronounced SKY just an FYI

are they on roster or does any "common" barrel work for SSE?

No, not on roster because they don't have a number of the Ca. requirements.

SSE kit for the Kel-Tec P-11 may work.
Since, the SCCY Industries CPX series is just a product improved clone of the Kel-Tec P-11.
SCCY industries was created by former Kel-Tec employees.
