if you are in ca the only way to get a .50 is to buy the .44 and convert it. its big, loud, and eats money the early ones would jam, IDK if they fixed that yet.

Ok, THAT is funny. No, I was on lane 4. I was shooting the .44 and some .357.

Those guys showed up and well, my teeth are still sore. I'm impressed you even tried to keep going. When I saw the .460 owner was having his buddys shoot, I asked if he was giving them more than one round at a time. He laughed, said no and then offered to let me shoot it. Tempting but I passed. I was only down there doing a PPT.
Small world. Funny thing is, I just got the PPQ as well. 9mm. Sweet trigger. take up is a tad grindy. Made me look good at 15 yards last week.

The 44 likes 240gr and as hot as you can load the round. The action pretty much runs exclusively on the tapped gas from the shot so you need to run it as hot as you can safely load the round.

Had a .44 way back. Fun for a few trips but unless your running hot ammo, it had feeding issues. A good gun for action movies.

Very accurate however. Sold it. No regrets.

The wheel gun in .44. .460 or .500 will also be hard on the wrists. Wear Gloves for both.

At least with the wheel gun you can mount a nice scope on her and go hunting for BigFoot..

Plus you can download the ammo and not worry about running a heavy slide.



Maybe I'am too cranky about hand cannons. Rent one first and get over it.....haha

For the cost you can get a couple of really fun lever guns.
