For those still debating, keep in mind this candy has essentially been unwrapped. In all likelihood, most of the pieces should still be edible, but still...

Too bad the pictures did not upload. Was the rounds in plastic boxes, cardboard boxes or baggies? I have been reloading for 32+ years and I have met others who should not be around powders or primers.

I was given a coffee can full of reloaded 45 ACP by a widow. Who keeps reloads in a coffee can? Anyways it was trash so I salvaged the lead and melted it into ingots.

Well he looks like he knew what he was doing. Does any of the reloads have labels? Reloaders usual put a label on with the recipe and when it was reloaded.

No, there will be a weight variance from case to case and same with the projectiles. Do you know what powder (year, lot, type) was used? Your best bet is to ditch the powder and primers and start over with the cases and projectiles. Yes, ditch the primers too unless you know the manufacturer, if it's a rifle vs. pistol primer and if it is normal or magnum primer. Do you really want to risk your face and hands on an unknown cartridge just to save a few pennies?
