    Sig P938

Got it out of jail a couple days ago, and broke it in today. Put 200 rounds of 115gr FMJ through it, then 20 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P which will be my carry ammo. 220 rounds through it rapidly with no problems. I really like the way the gun shoots, and drawing it from an N82 Tactical Pro IWB works well. Very happy with gun...

Rapid fire from 15 yards drawing from the holster with mag changes. Good enough for a SD gun.

20 rounds of the Speer Gold Dot rapid fire 15 yards. A little snappier than the standard 115gr FMJ, but still shoots well.

Congrats! The P938 is one fine shooter.

I particularly like how you can drop the magazine and rack the slide to unload the gun with the safety on.

      Enjoy.

Great review! I had a similar experience.

Everyone else: get yours now before SSE closes!

Good pickup and good shooting. I was so happy with the P938 Equinox I bought that I ordered a P938 SAS (waiting to DROS). These were never on the CA roster, so I'm guessing they'll be pretty hard to find once SSE closes. Definitely second the advice of getting one before the end of the year.

Just picked up the extreme myself. Haven't shot it yet but great to see someone else who hasn't had a problem with theirs.

IMO, one of the very best carry weapons on the market. Congrats!

Glad to hear that sig has fixed the problems that plagued the early releases. I hope that also carried through to the P238s.

I think they got that all sorted out awhile ago.
My P238 SAS has been trouble free, had it a little over a year.

                    Sig P938

I've got the P938 SAS. Shoots well, minimum recoil for such a small pistol. For now it's my favorite pistol.
I also have a P238 Scorpion. But I like shooting the 938 more. Cheaper ammo too...

My wife and I love our 938s. Great little shooters. Just be sure to check your 2-piece guide rod every so often to make sure it is tight. I lost mine at the range. While Sig sent a replacement fairly quickly, it is still a bummer. Had I known they sometimes come apart I would have been on top of it.

Just for info: In the pic below the guide rod (missing the shaft piece) and spring on top were from my 938, the full guide rod and spring on the bottom are from my wife's 938. The Sig rep recommended using Loctite to secure the two pieces, but on another forum they recommended Rocksett due to it's higher heat resistance.

Thanks for sharing, lots of good reviews for this piece. Because of it, if/when able to ccw, this will be my first choice.

Stripped the gun down today to get it cleaned up and ready for carry. The guide rod was G2G, but the grip fasteners were loose. I put some blue Loctite on them and tightened them down. Check your grip fasteners...
