What's the rear sight on the far right one?

Can you provide any evidence that a non Leo situation, someone knowing a laser was on them worked? Not saying it didn't, and I'm not sure if I think it would, but if we know it did, that settles it.
First think Taser. While becoming an instructor for this versatile tool, we enjoyed the ease of its use through the laser and light built in.
On patrol I saw firsthand another officer using the laser on his to bring a subject into compliance by projecting the beam on him. At this time I would suggest Tasers were pretty new. This subject understood that there was probably something bad at the other end of the light.
If you saw a laser light beam being projected onto you or at you. What would you think might be on the other end? Would you really just blow it off and think nothing of it? Now put you out late at night in a bad part of your town. Still think nothing of that being projected on you? Force projection at a touch of a button. How do you do that with night sights?
Generally we find that the same types of subjects you deal with in LE can be the same that civilians may deal with.
I am sure we can all agree that if you have to use a firearm to stop someone it will be very close. At this point, too many other factors play a role that have nothing to do with sights or lasers.
Fresno PD was allowing officers to purchase their own CT laser and have them installed on the issue Beretta's. I had asked officer friends who used this option the value of it for them. The few I was able to do this with to a man was convinced of its usefulness.
I am merely offering that as a defensive option lasers can offer a much greater value than night sights. So much so, that it should be just a tool you equip your SD handgun with. Almost as much as putting bullets in the handgun.
I know what I know from personnel experience with laser use in LE work. Having used them in training. And having made the effort to discuss this with other users. None of my limited education came from the internet or gun magazines.
We had Glocks at our agency. The CT and Lasermax were too expensive for me to buy. But I did buy my own weapon light with grip pressure pad.
Without any doubt I would rock a laser on a duty gun if I was in that field again.

So when you are in a situation where there isn't enough light to trigger the fiber optic element in the HD's or there isn't enough darkness to visibly see the tritium vial, then it becomes a bit visibly challenging.
        Hope that made sense.
Swap out the orange front sight for the lime green HD sight. It's lighter in color and makes seeing it in low light situations much easier.

The trade off... it's faster & easier to see the orange front sight under lots of light (like outside under the sun).

            think those are Idot Pro.

I prefer the Pro Idot... has a "step" on the rear sights, still easy to rack one handed but it looks better to me due to the "step" and won't scratch your slide when one hand racking.

don't get me stared on why they would name them like this to confused customers.
