4? I would be happy with one. Not sure why, other than 1911's or variations of a gun, you would want so many of one gun.

Good to hear that people are finding the VP9 reliable.

I would be shocked if it had an issue in only 2,000 rounds. Glock, XD, M&P...all can easily do that.

Yup, any good modern combat handguns should be able to do it. But we all hear stories here on Calguns.. maybe true , maybe not, of the occasional one that wont. My SiG p226 mk 25 did that when I first got it as well. In fact it went to over 3000 rnds without cleaning or a stoppage. Like Pres. Reagan, I like to "trust but verify"

Just ordered 1000 Rounds of 124gr PMC Bronze to break in my VP9. Of course I'll have the ammo sitting around first before I can actually shoot it.

how's the pointability of the vp9 been for everyone? this and whether or not i want to spend extra $ on mags/parts + time learning another platform for the vp9 vs another ppq will probably be the deciding factor for me.

i know it varies person to person, but i also notice that guns described by naturally or very pointable such as an 1911 or cz are generally pretty pointable and balanced for more people than guns that aren't often described as being pointable.

my VP9 zero stoppages or failures - zero rounds shot

USP expert - 1 stoppage user caused in almost 12,000 rounds

you should differentiate stoppage vs. failure.

                        You are right...

"A stoppage is anything that interferes with the continued operation of the weapon"

"A malfunction is a mechanical stoppage"

                        I will correct my OP.
