Get a cz P09 if you want a big polymer hammer fired gun. Or get some striker-fired guns, they are fun and popular for a reason. I always thought I'd always prefer steel sa/da bur I just shoot better with striker fired, even if they're not as comfortable. Comfort and accuracy do not go hand and hand in my experience, but with that being said there are some very comfortable striker fired guns these days.

80% of the people on this board have a Sig fetish, but for me there are other cheaper options with better triggers that weigh less. It's all subjective though. Go to a big gun store and fondle as many as you can before they throw you out... lol

I'd recommend something compact or sub compact to go with your service sized pistols. I'm loving the Sig P938. The shield also feels nice in my hands, but I don't really enjoy shooting it as much as I hoped.

I know you said you don't like striker fired guns and Glocks in general but shoot a Gen 4 G19 without any of the grip inserts.

It's the only SSE gun that I believe is truly worth getting now. None of your other guns are as light weight as the Glock and there will be a time that you're going wish you had one. Just do it!

Since u like metal frame'd weapons... May I suggest P220combat (metal frame'd double stack .45acp), and a 1911 in 9mm (metal frame'd single stack 9mm).

I think the p220 combat is "on" roster (or at least was). The p226 combat is "off" roster. Plus p220's are single stack .45's.
