Shot about 200 rounds through my VP9. All flawless. 0 failures and trigger reset was fine even with slow let off to feel for the reset.

Mostly NATO and about 20 rounds of Federal JHP. Will continue to test, but everything is so far so good.

Welcome, don't take the questions too harshly. Many of us have VP9s and it seems like nobody has had a similar issue. I'm sure if there is a problem with your gun you can send it back to HK for a fix.

Hi there! I completely understand why people are questioning me; all I want to do is help others by sharing my experience with a new gun.

I'm new to the internet gun review and YouTube thing so please have patience with me and avoid the personal attacks.

I look forward to learning from all the great people over here. If anyone has any questions or would like pictures, etc let me know.

        Thank you

so you haven't striped down and cleaned the gun ? maybe some piece of trash got in there from factory. try cleaning it then if it don't change call HK their CS is the best. (Travis went above and beyond for me) I doubt you'll have any problem with them fixing or replacing it if they cant fix. ohh and I didn't call them cause I had a problem with any product. it was a backorder problem and he had mine and my hommie riffles the next day after he got it all sorted out . simply awesome CS

It has been stripped down and cleaned 6 times. I've fired about 1600 rounds so far. I only use a bore snake and tooth brush with CLP so I doubt I got anything in the mechanism but I'll check for sure. I have no Idea on how to do anything beyond field stripping the VP9 so I can't see too much in the frame.

I'll call HK Monday, thank you.

I don't have any friends over at HK Pro. Not sure what you're talking about.

Not saying it did happen, wasn't there. But 800rds a day is nothing.

Cleaning 6 times, now that is BS. Field strip wipe and lube maybe.

So, you are "new" to the YouTube thing, except posting there two years ago, and are new to the gun review thing but, let me guess, you intend to be doing a lot more gun reviews in the future?

Sounds like a publicity stunt to me. Send the gun back to HK and if they find something wrong with it and give you something in writing to that effect I will publically apologize here in this thread for my misplaced suspicions posted here.

Ps.. I find it curious that you produced a YouTube gun review before you called HK customer service...

Btw... How did you come to find us here? Spending some time evaluating response to your video, again, before contacting HK customer service???

Jesus Christ man, what is your deal? Yes I am new to the YouTube thing because the video I posted a while back was uploaded by a family member as well as this one. Why are you out to get me? Are you really that bored that you have to attack someone you don't know because he was trying to be helpful and share his observation with the world? If you read my description you would know that it is not an issue when firing.

Also I will send it back in but I didn't know if I voided the warranty by stippling the frame.

And I was googling to see if anyone else had observed the same thing and this thread was on the 1st page.

Hmm...unfortunately, you probably did void the warranty but I wonder if HK would want to examine the the gun anyway because of the potential trigger issue claimed.

Lets just say I'm a suspicious person by nature when it comes to those who may be engaging in YouTube self aggrandizement. Maybe I should be living in the "show me" state of Missouri.

Btw.. What kind of "fighting" do you do with your stippled "fighting guns"? What other guns do you "fight with"? Do you normally classify a gun as a "fighting gun" worthy of stippling prior to establishing it a reliable which it would seem you have done with your HK VP9.

Problem is, by the time version 2 comes out, SSE will be over. So likely by the end of this year, I'll have to take the gamble on the first release of HK's product.

Except HK seems to put out high quality pistols. The P30/HK45 have been put through really high round counts over at pistol-training.com without serious issues.
