HK VP9 Reset - Potential Reset Issues
Tags: None -
I've heard from other threads that HK will NOT fix an off roster gun for a californian unless LE.
So an SSE gun would that has a defect would be a paperweight
"HK, because you suck, and we hate you" - Official HK business mottoBuy my EO Tech XPS3-0!!!
For those nutjobs who like to use the word "gouge"
Note: I did not write the above article.
Any carpenters in Socal want a side project?

What great customer service. I believe a lawsuit would be appropriate in that case.Comment

It should be noted that this moron has already messed with his gun applying some kind of texture to the upper area of the grip and frame around the take down lever.
Anyone want to bet the guy bought the gun and decided he could make it better than HK's designers/engineers and messed with the trigger???
Notice that there is NO commentary or explaination such as... "Box stock", "no mods" etc.... just a video.

Two things I notice, first, mine doesn't do that, ever. Second, notice the stippling? I'd bet there were some internal mods done to the gun....Comment

As a general rule, I try to avoid buying the first release of any product regardless of company. This way they can iron out their mistakes.
Problem is, by the time version 2 comes out, SSE will be over. So likely by the end of this year, I'll have to take the gamble on the first release of HK's product.Comment

I really do think the guy messed with the internals on the gun just as he messed with the excellent externals. In his only comment / explaination with the video he says:
"No problem. When I'm doing basic handgun drills out at the range I've only had this happen once. I really have to focus on slowly resetting the trigger to make this happen. Also, I think I may be the only one with this 'issue".
And yes, I stippled the grip. Stippling is a must for my fighting handguns."
His fighting handguns???? REALLY?
I bet a home made trigger job is also a "must" for his "fighting handguns". HE KNOWS he is the only one with that "issue" and he knows why, he just doesn't want to admit to it. He is clearly an "operator" who is "operating" out there in Az. with his "fighting" handguns....
