HK VP9 Reset - Potential Reset Issues

I was all set and ready to pay whatever I had to to SEE this pistol, and then I found this. What say you guys?

All manufactures have defects and I haven't seen or heard of any other reports of this yet.

That being said my Brother's USP45c does something similar to this, it has two clicks before the pistol is reset and it drives me crazy.

I've heard from other threads that HK will NOT fix an off roster gun for a californian unless LE.

So an SSE gun would that has a defect would be a paperweight

What great customer service. I believe a lawsuit would be appropriate in that case.

It should be noted that this moron has already messed with his gun applying some kind of texture to the upper area of the grip and frame around the take down lever.

Anyone want to bet the guy bought the gun and decided he could make it better than HK's designers/engineers and messed with the trigger???

Notice that there is NO commentary or explaination such as... "Box stock", "no mods" etc.... just a video.

              Hmmmmm

Two things I notice, first, mine doesn't do that, ever. Second, notice the stippling? I'd bet there were some internal mods done to the gun.

The way HK designed the reset the problem he gets should not be possible. Even if all he did was do a detail strip and put it back together, he must have messed up along the way.

As a general rule, I try to avoid buying the first release of any product regardless of company. This way they can iron out their mistakes.

Problem is, by the time version 2 comes out, SSE will be over. So likely by the end of this year, I'll have to take the gamble on the first release of HK's product.

Looks like a made up problem because he's short stroking the trigger. Perhaps he needs a more forceful reset like on a glock.

I really do think the guy messed with the internals on the gun just as he messed with the excellent externals. In his only comment / explaination with the video he says:

"No problem. When I'm doing basic handgun drills out at the range I've only had this happen once. I really have to focus on slowly resetting the trigger to make this happen. Also, I think I may be the only one with this 'issue".

And yes, I stippled the grip. Stippling is a must for my fighting handguns."

                              His fighting handguns???? REALLY?

I bet a home made trigger job is also a "must" for his "fighting handguns". HE KNOWS he is the only one with that "issue" and he knows why, he just doesn't want to admit to it. He is clearly an "operator" who is "operating" out there in Az. with his "fighting" handguns....
