I recently sold my px4 and I want to replace it with one of 3 guns.I sold it because although it's a nice shooter but my issues with thumbs causes me to fumble with the safety. I'm smashed and dislocated my thumbs so now u have no feeling.
My first choice is a glock 19 then a HK. Either a p2000, p30 or usp compact.
My third choice is a walther. This one seems random but the ergonomics are great.
The glock would receive a grip reduction and stipple job, a little trigger work and night sights.
The HK is pretty much perfect with the exception of adding a extended mag release.
The gun will be used as a ccw, home security.
With that said I need some feed back on the hk and walther. From the research I've done the hk is a shooter right out of the box. I've read that the p220r is slightly smaller and conceals a little better. The main complaint is the grip surface rubbing the skin.
Is there any other complaints I should know.
The walther seems like a poor man's hk.
The glock made the list because I own a few, easy to work on a can be reliable.
Money's not an issue so what would you do and is there a gun I'm not thinking of?
