I'm taking a new shooter to the range tomorrow, my guns are 7.62x54r and 7.62x39. Just in case she feels they are overpowered can my dad let me borrow his .22 lr Ruger revolver?

FWIW, I have no HSC, never had. My handguns are pre registrationIt takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Are you currently an active reservist? If you've finished your service (you mentioned veteran) and were honorably discharged, you'll need an HSC. You might as well make things easy and walk into a local gun store and take the 'test'. No need to study, they're simple commonsense questions.Comment
