In the Central Valley Alquist in Turlock had 4 of them going to $359 incl SSE ea. I am sure they went fast. Interesting gun, look forward to seeing one in person.

I don't want to start another thread, but I think the Shield is still better, though it is a little more money. So....

Which is better? The LC9s or the Shield?

Having spent a fair amount of time with the LC9, I'd still take the Shield.

so.... can you swap the slide and trigger or Just the trigger group to change the LC9 into the LC9S????????
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

yup he seems pretty high on the LC9s... but he doesn't do very many bad reviews on any guns...

Rifle Gear just got a batch in. As of this posting it shows that they have 6 left in their inventory.

I was there yesterday and they didn't have any, they must have arrived this morning. My timing was off, I'll have swing by RG tomorrow.

My wife has added one of these striker fired LC9s to her inventory, and I got to shoot it a fair bit on Sunday while at the range side-by-side with my shield. As much as I want to like the LC9s, I just can't. I've grown accustomed to DA/SA triggers on my Sigs, and the trigger pull is just too long. Yes, it's striker fired, and I expected it to feel like the trigger on my shield... but it didn't. It almost felt like a DAO pistol. The trigger pull is that long
But, my wife likes it, and that's what counts

Thats odd, I felt the LC9s I handled had a shorter lighter trigger than the Shield, XDs, & Glock. I was super impressed. I wanted to buy one just for trigger.

I picked one up at Gunfighter Tactical in Miramar. I also have the original LC9 with the Galloway mods. I must say, I REALLY like the LC9s. It's really easy to shoot and shoot well. MUCH better than the original LC9 inaanyconfiguration. Oh, and Gunfighter Tactical does FREE SSE.

That's really, really weird. The reason I bought the LC9S was BECAUSE the TRIGGER was AWESOME.

                            BETTER than all the rest.

I shot one from fellow cal gunner at the range...wow....the trigger is amazing.

I pick mine up this Thursday.

Hickok45 takes time to mention how this trigger makes the LC9S a different gun than the old model. He explains in detail how the trigger is awesome. He carries this weapon.

The trigger felt great and that hickok45 review is also what sold it for me.
