Will shops who use barrel inserts be able to SSE this?

It took that long for them to release the striker fired version of the lc9. Here is the thread in December of last year when I spoke with Rugers rep.

If the DAO LC9 can be converted, that would be great. I'd pay the cost of the gun for that just to avoid any SSE complications.

I never considered the lc9 to be DA and you cannot pull the trigger multiple times on a misfire.

The slide needs to cycle to cock the hammer.

And yes, a retrofit for older guns would be awesome

Amazing this rumor was based in fact. I really like the LC9. Now that is has a striker, ooh wee! Nice find and post, poster!

I like how they characterize the old one as "Smooth" double action trigger. It broke consistently, but it had SOOOO much take up before it did, I could get a cup of coffee before it broke. I'd be interested in checking it out with the new trigger, because the ergonomics were good.

We have a few coming in, I am interested to see how much different they are.

I'm wondering if they're going to have the 'sharkfin' LCI on the slide, since the production picture posted above doesn't have one. Looks cleaner without it.

And since this wouldn't be CA approved, I wonder if they removed the mag disconnect as well (although removing that from the LC9 is pretty easy).

If the trigger feels good, this may be a good pickup before the end of the year.

Do you have an estimated price for these yet?

Give me an hour or so. I was literally on the phone with them confirming shipment when I read this thread.

Pretty sure the current model already had the LCI. Since Ruger isn't doing CA currently, I'd expect the first production runs not to have it or the mag disconnect.

We'll have them for $500 OTD, gun, tax and DROS. We'll have them Friday it looks like, just in time for the gun show.
