Are you one of those .45 elitists? -
get a HK45 (not USP) before SSE runs out.Comment

I have shot all of those mentioned. Out of those choices, I prefer the P220 with the SRT kit installed and sights set for "top of post" POA-POI. I have not shot a P227 yet, but I would give that a try too. The CZ97 is nice too, very heavy but a smooth shooter. For me, it would definitely come down to these two pistols.Comment

Does anyone know of a place in LA that rents the CZ? I won't go to Oaktree.

The Firing Line in Burbank has a CZ97B for rent. Give them a call to see if they have it available (may be in the middle of being serviced/tuned up)

Good luck!
Oh, and by the way, I only have experience with two of the 4 choices (CZ 97B and G21 SF) and I prefer the CZ 97B better. One Way to Post Pics ********** How to Submit an iTrader Rating That Counts ********** Brass for Sale

For pure Kool aid I'd get either a CZ or a Sig. but personally wouldn't buy any of those in 45. Only gun I'd still ever rock in 45 is a 1911 or UMP45
9mm? CZ > Glock > M&P > Sig > USP
The CZ and glock are a toss up and only CZ first cause I already have 3 Glocks, and M&P before sif for use, but Sig if you want Koolaid.
YMMV, FWIW.Comment

HK, no compromise! Also as a bonus you get a free Streamlight TRL-3 with the purchase of any USP through September.Last edited by Sure Shot 45; 07-28-2014, 8:58 PM.Comment

These questions always generate the same thread.Everyone chimes with what they own and like.
Only one of your choices I own is a Sig P220.I do like it.It's not everyone's preference.
Have a 227.Haven't owned it long enough to offer too much comment.Comment

The 227 doesn't really do it for me. I have quite a few wonder nines, and have considered a CZ-75, but I want something to shoot .45 with besides my 1911.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. How about some criteria to help make your decision? ie price, polymer framed, etc
Cuz I'd also recommend looking at the HK45/HK45c.Comment
-
My criteria are within these choices. They include polymer and metal framed, striker fired, hammer fired, and foreign and domestic made. The prices are all around 500-800, I believe.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. I have a P220 combat and new model CZ 97B. Both are very accurate. CZ is a softer shooter, but weighs more. Finish is better on the Sig. Would never sell either of them.
I have an m&p .40; it's a great gun, but I would pick Sig or CZ.
Can't speak for the other two. If you decide on the HK, I would go for an HK45 over USP before SSE ends.sigpicComment

I have only shot a couple of pistols you mention, so I can only tell you that I really like my M&P 45. Put an Apex trigger kit in it & night sights. About 2000 rounds down the pipe with zero failures.
Much less money than some of those, so more money on ammo & training.

Go rent a few and try them. At least one of them will "speak" to you!..
