    Help a noob pick a striker 9mm

I currently have a sig 2022 but it just doesn't fit my hand well. I have fairly lone fingers and a small palm. 4" index finger with palm 4' across knuckles and 1st knuckle to wrist is also 4". This makes finding a gun that fits a difficult proposition.

Even with interchangeable grips on the sig 2022 they still don't fit properly. It seems the difference is more in thickness than extending the rear part. As such with a firm grip it's usually my middle phalanx that is on the trigger. This combined with the fact that the trigger breaks all the way to the rear of the guard usually means that my finger wants to slip on the trigger to wear it rides on the joint between the middle and proximal phalanx joint. Now if the trigger would break where it sits in single action mode then I would keep the gun but it doesn't.

I want to move onto a striker 9mm and need recommendations for triggers that break early. I tried a glock but the trigger safety digs into my finger and it breaks to the rear of the trigger guard. I heard a FNS 9 breaks fairly early but I can't find one to try. Any other choices that have a trigger that breaks early?

      HK VP9

It also has interchangeable backstraps and side panels.

Try a Glock. I can't stand the way they feel in my hand because the grip is too wide front to back. It's ridiculous how wide their grips are. So might just be what you need

Try out the P99 Walther, it comes with 3 back-straps for different size hands

You might want to consider a 1911, it's amazing what a qualified gunsmith can easily do with it's trigger.

PPQ M1 or M2 should fit your hand nicely.

^^ This. And probably the best stricker fired trigger out of the box.

Guess that is the caveat about striker, they will break further than hammer counterparts.

I like my PPQ, but it breaks more to the rear as well. The P320 and VP9 seems to break earlier than most other striker.

Well, I think my CZ-75b-SA breaks furthest, but of course it is a hammer.

Glock or S&W m&p with trigger upgrades.

                          NO NO NO on Glock.

If the 2022 is too fat for your palm, so will the Glock. Look at a MP9 or the new HK VP9 as posted already.
