Scotchblade, the wood grips make the pistol feel solid atleast in my hands the problem is they don't grab your hand enough. If you are having problems with the screws I know czcustome sells screws and I think they come with a lock washer.

Nahpungnome I am tempted to try it. My only concern is there isn't a video of some one doing it so it makes me worried to try. I haven't stripped anything out of the gun before.

I used this as a guide, you don't really need a video, but there are a few on youtube.

I did they said i would have to pay for it. Its kind of frustrating because i bought the gun with out knowing. Also they made a faulty product to a degree in my opinion and wont fix it themselves.

What's wrong with your current older barrel?

Sucks they wont replace it but if you do get a replacement you could always use the old one just for range ammo and avoid wearing out the new one.

Older barrels have issues feeding hollow points.

Yeah, but david at cgw explained to me how to fit a newer barrel. I have heard that you can polish the feed ramp on the old barrel to make it more reliable. Im just kind of pissed off at cz for not t aking care of it or offing a discount.

Call them back and ask for a supervisor they may accommodate you.

Good to know. The barrel in my 97B is the one on the left. If a barrel doesn't feed hollowpoint reliably then CZ should definitely replace or work on the barrel for you with no extra charge.
