    S&W Model 19-3 -

A few pictures while it's at the FFL -

Bore is beautiful - Can't do much with the CAI banner on the barrel!

Saigon1965, when you want to upgrade I can take this used revolver off your hands.

That is cool. Now, I wonder why they wouldn't just have sold model 13s.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Nice! I see your S&W logo is on the right side, I have a 19-5 and the logo is on the left side. Any ideas why they switched them or are they even consistent as to what side it's on? I cant find anything that says the -3 has it on one side and the -5 has it on the other, etc.

              The barrel shroud is cool?

It looks to be that S&W wanted to keep that side clean for PDs to add their dept. logos on and special limited engraving -

My -4 is on the right side -

Oji - Since it has a "France" flavor to it thus on my radar -

I'm in Castro Valley. Could I ask what dealer you found this at. Talk about a Rare As A Hen's Tooth gun!

Why did they designate it a model 19 instead of model 13? Is it because of the shrouded barrel?
Check back later for a witty comment.

That's not my letter by the way - I saved it since I was looking for this revolver -
