nice, I would call it a model 13 and a half. Its probably built on a model 13 frame anyways.

Except the 13 didn't have a full shroud around the ejector rod. Otherwise, they look very close.

The model 65 Ladysmiths had the fixed sight/shrouded ejector rod combo in stainless. This is the first time I've heard of that configuration in a 19. Very cool.

                Saigon1965,

Have you been out to the range with this new toy??? Updates please. My weak spot are these 3" S&W's.

                  Very special model 19.

                  Thanks for sharing the pics.

It sure looks like a target hammer to me.

Got some new pictures with the original hammer on her -

I like this thing - Round butt is super nice and the 3" balances well -

That's sexy. Love that shrouded ejector with the fixed-sight frame.

                              Holy schizophrenia

a Combat Magnum with fixed sights. and smooth backstrap.

and a dash 3 means the rear sight leaf screw has been moved. ?

it would really be interesting to find out why this is called a Model 19.

Nice, I have a 19-3 snubbie your 19-3 is the first I've seen without a adjustable rear sight. Cool find.
