The specific batch of Mle 19- 3" RS was ordered by the Police Nationale based on advice from Raymond Sasia, a French police shooting Instructor who cross-trained with the FBI at Quantico and created a modern training facility in Paris.

R. Sasia was in charge of President de Gaulle security.

Except the 13 didn't have a full shroud around the ejector rod. Otherwise, they look very close.

The model 65 Ladysmiths had the fixed sight/shrouded ejector rod combo in stainless. This is the first time I've heard of that configuration in a 19. Very cool.

Nice, I have a 19-3 snubbie your 19-3 is the first I've seen without a adjustable rear sight. Cool find.
