Yes, it's worth it! Get it before SSE is banned!

Worth it? Yeah. The prices of SSE on Gen 4 Glocks has steadily gone down. I paid $559 plus tax and DROS for my Glock 22 Gen 4 FDE and 3 Mags.

SSE'd a Gen 4 G17 at Sacramento Black Rifle back in December and the process took no longer than a regular purchase and no additional fees. The only thing that was extra was when I picked up the pistol, I had to remove the SSE barrel and put the OEM back in. I got the Gen 4 for my son because the smaller grip fit his little hands better and the stippling on the grip is much nicer than the Gen 3's. With the Gen 4's you get 3 mags instead of 2 that come with the Gen 3's, 4 backstraps and the peace of mind knowing that you own a gun that the State says you shouldn't be able to have.
            **** your feelings!

Its worth it. Get it while you can. You can always get a gen 3.

It's only worth the price of an additional magazine, since Gen 4 Glocks come with 3 mags. Any other differential is not worth the incremental cost.

                    Yeah. Get the Gen 4.

Much better ergonomics. 3 mags. Higher resale value if SSE goes away.
Anything to piss off the State is good for me...

I will get three or four more in the coming months.

Passing off the state is my favorite reason so far.

Given that tomorrow is July 1st, you could be on track to getting 6 more! (assuming end of year SSE goes away).
