Loaded or Mil Spec?




I apologize for the crappy picture quality and my complete ignorance of 1911s.

That would be a Mil-Spec.

Loaded, visually they add, better sight, Videki/3-hole long aluminum trigger, beaver-tail, Springfield's delta hammer, and front serrations.

Well I just got screwed. It was advertised as a loaded. Just bought it on impulse a few hours ago. Got home and looked at the pictures I took of it and compared them to pictures of the loaded model online and noticed some differences. Guess I'm going back to the LGS tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys.

Paperwork is already started so I don't know how easy a refund will be. They are legally obligated to make this right, right? I know it's partially my fault for not knowing for sure what I was buying but I hope I'm not just gonna be stuck with a Mil-spec and eat the cost. Bought the thing because I was having a bad day and needed something to put a smile on my face. It's not working.

It was priced at just over $1000, on sale for $879. It was either that or a RIA and I liked the Springfield better. Springfield doesn't list MSRP on their website so I don't know if the price I paid is closer to a true Mil Spec price or Loaded price.

Little over for a mom n pops shop would be okay, or if you got it for much less, keep it .

Good deal is all defined by how comfortable you are paying.

It is not too late for them to make it right on the DROS.

Check the DROS. They are required to identify the model, or at least I have always had the model listed.

On the DROS they have the model listed as PB9151L, which a google search shows is indeed the Mil Spec model.

On the tag on the gun itself the model is listed as "Loaded".

On my receipt (the form says "Purchase Agreement" actually) the model is listed as "Loaded".
