Hey Guys,
I have been looking into getting a AR Pistol lower, But in my research on forums and other sites it has to be completed pistol or an 80% Lower. But this info I am not finding on the DOJ or confirmed facts other then word of mouth. I have asked the DOJ and haven't heard back yet.
Here is my stupid noob questions:
In California the lower receiver is the "gun" correct?
If so, Why cant we get a build AR Pistol Lower (or any lower for that matter) with a bullet button and add a "single shot sled" in it and register it under the single shot exemption? Has anyone gotten this answered? If you have something that is a definite yes or no answer here please link it.
In case what you are wondering by what I meant "built lower" here is one I was looking. Spikes will also let you add a "single shot sled" to it.
Thanks your time and help!
