Not going to pay $ for that distinction, I'm sure it's a nice pistol though. Markings are not clean and crisp like a Kimber.
I just looked at a Kimber Stainless Target II in 38 Super. If it was a 10mm I would have bought it.

Yeah, I agree - Kimbers are very pretty; but so is makeup on an pig. If only they were made as well as Springfields where it counts - I would be more fond of the Kimbers.

      Oh well.

I remember these, they look very sharp. When I finally had the $$ for one, they discontinued this finish.
The distributor told us these Loaded's were finished in Brazil, and now that Springfield finishes them in IL, it was discontinued. Not sure if it was true or just something they made up. It's been at least 3-4 years since I saw one of these in a gun store.

Some nice VZ grips would be the finishing touch.

Yep - Frames FORGED in Brazil, and everything else including assembly, fitting, and finish - made in America.

Bryco, Jennings, Davis, Hi-Point, Raven Arms, Jimenez, Phoenix, the Remington Model 51, Grendel, Colt All American.... all made in the USofA.

              ...to each their own.

Really nice finish on that 1911. Is that the range officer model?
