    Yep, good find OP!

I was aware of that finish from Springfield but thought it had to be done after purchasing a base gun. Definitely looks like the Eclipse's finish and a fine looking gun.

Post pics of the actual gun after pick up and after the range trip!

Very nice, I've had this exact Springfield on my list for some time now but yet to come across one for sale.

                Nice!

I have the SS/BLK as well, it's about 7 years old now. Only a couple of minor issues with mine.
Front roll pin rolled up. tap tap, drop of locktite, all good. I actually have FO front now, I like them better than night sights for outdoor shooting.
2 piece rod guide was unscrewing out, replaced with a 1 piece (yea I like them FLRG's).

                Have fun!

congrats. you never know what you might find when you look into the display case at the lgs. my last handgun purchase was intended to be a 'box or two of ammo' purchase, but turned into a gun layaway instead (lnib Gen 2 G17).

Not sure of the model designation, but it's called the Black Stainless. I sold one to my friend.
