    Ruger P93?

Why have I never seen any P93's for sale or even discussed on CalGuns

No longer in production. Rather unremarkable guns. Not to say they're bad, just kind of ugly and just like any other semi auto of the time. That said, I'd buy one if the price was right.

The P95 is still on roster. Basically the same gun.

Any reason for the interest in the P93 specifically?

All metal, friend has one. I've shot it, nice gun. I know they have been out of production for years. Were they ever on the roster here?

        I have a P89 I never shoot.

Was my first gun, gifted to me by my father.

Reliable, but mushy trigger and very bulky.

My first handgun was a KP90.....still have after 15+ years....it's my BLM monster, has never failed me.....ugly, kinda, but it was cheap and to date has more rounds through it then my other 15+ handguns

              I have a P89 and PC9, and would love to pick up a P93/94/95

I learned to shoot (handguns) off my Dad's old P89 when I was around 10. Dont personally own any Ruger P-series (theyre all basically the same design, P-85, with improvements or variatant deviations over the years), theyre great, solid, reliable and gairly accurate handguns, at a good price... trigger while not bad, leaves something to be desired imo, and theyre a bit plain jane looking (not that that means anything). Ive got a P-series on my short (perferably a P-89) list, if for nothing more than nostalgia.

It was Ruger attempt at a smaller pistol. Ruger was extremely PC when the founder was still alive and would never dream of making guns like the lcp when he was around.

I have a P94 I bought to go with my PC9 and I've never had any failures with it. Yes the trigger is lacking but it's a gun I can depend on. Oh and op thanks I looked up the P93 and now I want one.

Even more rare is the P94L (built in laser).

                          Less than 1000 units produced.

I remember looking at a P94L years ago, but as I recall they were LE sales only...?

Were P93's not on the roster on California?

The one I have shot belongs to a friend in AZ.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.
