I saw an episode of cops where a guy was walking down the street who was shot with one of these. He was bleeding from the stomache and arm. He didnt even know he was shot in the arm!

      Illegal in California, I believe.

I haven't shot a .22 Mag from a handgun, but from a rifle it is SUBSTANTIALLY more powerful than long rifle. They have real jacketed bullets, not just washed, so the lead is very soft and the hollow points expand easily.

I have a small Beretta automatic that easily fits in front pants pockets, except maybe skinny jeans. I have a .22 for practice and an identical .25 for carry. The primer on .25's is more reliable than rimfire. It holds more ammo, and is much easier to shoot than a mini revolver. If you are able to pocket carry, get a small automatic.

A mini revolver is for when even pocket carry is not possible. I've seen one carried under a shirt by putting a .22 bore brush on a string or chain worn around the neck and the bore brush shoved into the barrel. Just grab and yank it off the bore brush.
