Micro Carry Revolver?

Not trying to be rude but I conceal a xd 45 compact daily. I wear shorts and polos mostly, so I don't see why so many people carry these mouse guns. If you're going against an armed BG its gonna be a battle of attrition because most scum carry 9mm, 22lr, and .380. Why trade shots when you could end it with one in the .357 or .45 variety? I can't stress this enough, don't put your life on the line with a rimfire.Before the ammo shortage, when I owned 22s, it was common to get 10 or so ftf in a brick. Not trying to rain on anyone's parade but buy a real effing gun.

If you read the first line in the OP, I mentioned much beefier guns for most carry situations.

Mouse guns are good for backup or for situations you can't IWB.

The 938 DOES have a manual safety.

My mistake, I stand corrected. The 9MM mouse sig listed is the P290 not P938. Chart wasnt updated with that gun yet.

Do you have thoughts on the threshold for length, width before its really limited for pocket usage?

IMHO, what's pocketable for one may not be for another. There are obvious outliers that won't work for anybody (e.g. my Desert Eagle ), but I think it comes down to:

- Body type: Thin, normal, well-endowed. If you're already heavy and straining your clothes, that won't leave much room for a pistol in your pocket, etc.
- Clothing type: I can conceal that NAA in any sort of pants, even tailored dress pants. And like I mentioned, depending on the brand of jeans and other clothing, I can pocket that AMT45 too. Others may not be able to.

I carry a NAA .22 mag revolver, stoked with Hornady Critical Defense, in a Concealment Solutions pocket holster:





ETA: This combo is incredibly small and light. A big difference in size & weight from an LCP or even an NAA Guardian in .32ACP.

I had a chance to put a LCP and a Sig P398 in my pocket today.

On paper doesn't look like much of a difference but a LCP slips into my jeans pocket completely but the Sig does not. Seems like I need jeans with deeper pockets.

Painful decision for .380 vs 9MM. I'm not worried about power with .380 defense loads but I've wanted to standardize on 9MM for as many handguns as possible.

Any opinions on

I had the NRA edition lc9 and let me tell you.... its terrible. People either love or hate it. Most people that love it never owned or shot one. Really not all that small IMO. Lcp is sooo much smaller. Maybe if I got the lcp I wouldnt have a jennings j22 haha
