    are these rounds shootable?

    i have a buncha .45acp rounds that been loaded and unloded buncha times

    wondering if i would to shoot them what would happen? the gun is a RIA 1911

            sounds like you got the right answer, if you know someone that reloads they can pull them out a bit and reset to the right OAL.

                i know what bullet set back is thats why i put them to the side..

                i have also read from diff gun forums that 1911 style pistol should be OK to shoot these

                    When it comes to safety, 1 "no" should override a hundred "yes". Why risk your gun or health over a dollar's worth of ammo? Dispose of these properly and move on..

                      I'd use a bullet puller and salvage the components if you know what the powder is salvage it if not at least the bullets. But as noted above don't shoot them.
