Anyone have thousands of rounds through one?

I want a 10, and Id like it to be steel... but this talk of hundreds of rounds and breaks sounds scary. 500 rounds is a couple outings for me.

Not full power, just range loads, but I want a gun that'll run through thousands and thousands without a hiccup, like my M&P40.

The glock SF is HUGE! Its nice though, but id rather have steel. If reliability is on the table, ill stick with the glock.

Yeah I feel the same about steel frame guns, I do have my share of polymer ones but there's something about an all steel gun.

Its hard to acquire massive amounts of full power 10mm unless you're a consistent reloader. Just getting 100 rounds of the full power stuff required ordering it from three different vendors online.

IMO, its not enough to just work with the wussy stuff. Otherwise you just have a heavier and bigger .40 caliber pistol.

Reloading IS the way with 10MM Get a Dillon SDB and run with it.

I also agree with getting full power 10MM whenever you can
I own a .40 so I'll shoot that when I want to shoot .40. When I break out the 10MM (G-20 & Kimber Eclipse) I want them to roar!

FM has 10mm for ~50 cents per, but they are probably a little soft.

The standard 10-round magazine for the full-sized Witness pistols is part number 101440. Just google "witness magazine 101440".

Could pull the bullet and sprinkle some pixie dust and re seat it. Or not... Then switch to reloading once you have a lot of cases.

Being that I have near- daily encounters with bears, it's a tempting platform. That RIA 2011 is nice.

They smell so bad, you can tell one is within a block or so just by whether or not it smells like 100 dumpsters. Overgrown rats, I tell ya!

Something like 450 to 500 out the door. I don't really remember. Online it was a deal but once sse fees and transfer plus taxes. It added another 100 dollars or so.
