Wait a second. I have heard from A LOT of people on this board that Jerry is pro 2A. Why would he sign this if he is as pro 2A as everyone says he is?

If you like rain. It won't be long before the liberals up there go at guns. Since politically it is a Democrack state.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

He is not pro 2A. Who says he is? The NRA has him rated a F or D. IIRC

He's not fully anti, last time there were a bunch of bills and he vetoed half and passed half.

Blanket statement. It depends where you live. Move east if rain is an issue. I lived in Washington for years before a series of unfortunate events forced me back to California.

Oregon and Washington may be "blue" states, but the populous loves their guns and they vote accordingly.

Brown is not the worst kind of democrats. Newsom is far worst if he gets to see the light of day as a governor or POTUS !

It will be sad to see the price people are asking for non roster guns selling in Ca. if and when this passes.

Tell me of this free place you mention called...Washington State? What city are you in? What's the job and real estate market like? I'm looking for a place 30-40 minutes outside a decent size town. Doesn't have to be huge, a Walmart...a CostCo would be nice but not mandatory. A little acreage you could buy for about $250K ish with no neighbors on top of you and where you could shoot without anyone complaining of the noise.

Job market is less important to me as I can work from home. Just needs to be a big enough town for supplies and so I don't go stir crazy. What are the winters like too please.

I'm on the Olympic Peninsula, just across the moat from Seattle.

Don't have a lot of insight into the job market. I'm retired and not looking. Most of the folks that I know that want to work are working.

We've got a WalMart and a Costco. The Navy BX and Commissary are also right nearby.

Unfortunately 250K just isn't gonna go far. Housing up here is better than California, but not by much. Once you get farther into the sticks, you'll get more for your money.

Liberals tend to infest the western part of the state, but there's enough rational folks in the eastern part of the state to keep things in check.

The cool thing is that when you want to be in the big city, you get on the ferry and 40 minutes later, you're there. When you don't want to be in the city, you've got a four mile wide moat to keep everybody apart.

The winters are pretty mild. We get some snow, but it never stays for long. We do get some rain every now and then.
If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for the evening. If you set a man on fire, you'll keep him warm for the rest of his life.

What you describe would be ideal for me also. Just not sure which state I would choose to be in just yet, but at this point anything but CA or any state with strong gun laws would probably work out.
