    CDNN

I just checked their website and in their how to buy guns from us they don't mention if they ship to CA.

Has anyone ever bought a gun from them. If so was rostered or off roster?

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

They wouldn't even ship my 5.45 M&P AR upper to me.... They are in the same boat as sportsmans guide and cheaper than dirt.

I don't think they are as bad as the other 2 when it comes to parts at least..
CTD won't even send pistol grips to CA.
CDNN will send random ar15 parts and 10 round magazines etc.

They would not do parts kits back in the day, but now they do have some pinned 10 round AR magazines atm...

Sorry to hear about your upper... thats lame. Did it come with magazines and they where unwilling to open it and take them out?

BTW their old website was kinda 90's looking but it worked... not a huge fan of their new design.

No, it was just the M&P upper. I ended up having a friend buy it in another state and then having him ship it to me.

Good to know, looks like they won't be getting my business just like SG and CTD.

How do you like it? I have a nice M&P lower with no uper at this time and i had always thought about getting a 5.45 upper for it. Though that was when we could get cheep surplus ammo for it too.

No shipping to CA. It's under their policies page.

CDNN is great people and many good deals.

As was posted before, just have it shipped to someone you know out of state and have them ship to you.

I've done that a bunch for my bil and a couple of friends.

I purchased a shotgun from them, and used Quantico for the FFL transfer. No problems.

I tried to get a Beretta Stampede from them

Despite the fact that single actions are exempt(and I told them that) their reply was 'We don't sell handguns to California'.

Well I liked it a lot better when I could buy surplus steel ammo for it but I figure the 3k rounds I have left will wear the barrel out, so I'm not that upset.

It is an amazing round. Accurate, little to no recoil, reliable, destroys cinderblocks, dints, pits and scars .50 inch steel plates at -100 yards. It is simply my favorite round out of the three majors (5.56, 7.62, 5.45).

Sadly I think S&W stopped selling their 5.45 upper but I could be mistaken.

How can a company which forces you to involve multiple out of state parties just to purchase legal items be considered "great people"?

I've purchased numerous items from CDNN; never had a problem. They are customer friendly, responsive, and ship in a timely manner with updated tracking info. CDNN often has products that are difficult to get elsewhere.
