Range sessions

100 to 150 if using any handgun caliber greater than a 22LR. After that I am just wasting lead, because I stop paying attention to how I can improve.

200 if I am shooting 22LR.

50 if I am shooting rifle calibers.

Fourth of July and New Years, just one round into the air, then I run before shot spotter can detect me. (j/k, don't report me)

Range sessions could last anywhere 50-300 rounds, but normally I tried to limit it to 200 rounds, max.. For me, fatigue/monotony sets in around that point and I start losing the ability to focus and/or execute properly.. Bad practice is just that, bad.. While ammo "use to be" cheap, I'd rather not be wasteful..

Of course if I'm shooting with friends, then I shoot even less, well sorta.. There's usually a lot of BSing.. but at the same time I'm stealing their ammo instead of shooting up mine!

100 = .45acp
100 -150 = .40s&w
150-200 ( or more, it depends if feeling more generous on a given day ) = 9mm
400 more or less = .22lr
