200 rounds per session. I've been going every week. I usually rotate 9mm and .45. Once in a while I'll take out the shotgun and put 20-30, but that's only around once a month. When I take the AR out, it's also 200 rounds.

Over the last 16 range trips I've averaged 161 rounds through my M&P each trip.

Lowest rounds fired was 50.
Highest was 360.

Oddly enough, I seem to run through about 500 rounds per session regardless of how many handguns I bring with me. I guess I just shoot for a certain amount of time and then tend to stop.

Safe range would be 100 - 500. At least once a week. Not unusual to blow through 1,000+ rds of different calibers a month.

I try to take 2 guns once a week and generally shoot 100rds out of each one. I shoot 50 from 10-15yds at a silhouette for each one, and then either shoot 50 more at a silhouette at 20-25yds, or do rapid fire dot drills.

Yesterday I just got my 9mm out of jail so I put 100 rounds through her and took my .40 for practice and put 50 rounds through her

250+ per session, 4-5 sessions per week not including competitions. Steel Challenge match with 2 guns can eat up 500.

Range sessions

All depends on my mood. Sometimes I just feel like shooting the bearcat for an hour. Some times I like shooting one gun a lot. Sometimes a few different ones. Since I have a membership to a range and can shoot as often as I'd like I tend towards more, shorter sessions.

But if my boys come along we burn through ammo!! But on average I'd say 150.

I burn 20-300 rounds depending on the caliber. 454 Casull 18 rounds would be the norm. 44 mag about 32 a 60 rounds. 22 pistols 100-200. 9mm 100-200. 357 100-200. 40 100-200, but for USPSA 250-350.

170-200. I'd gladly shoot more rounds, and more often, if I could afford it.

Shooting weekly, I don't see a need to run more than 3-4 mags per firearm.
