    Sig P238 Nitron CA Compliant???

Hey all, I am wondering if anyone knows if the Sig P238 Nitron is CA compliant. It's weird because the California Roster shows the P238 on there, but the Sig website doesn't show any P238 CA compliant weapons.

By the way...not looking for an editorial, just the facts, please

Interesting cause the roster also says the two tone is good to go but sigs site says its not.

The Nitron is not CA comliant. Right now the only one with the loaded chamber indicator and the magazine safety is the two-tone.

My bad, pilote and Virus55 are right. There is an all stainless one on the roster too.

To be CA compliant I suggest you get the two-tone and a can of black Rust-Oleum. ;-)

Bummer, I found a Nitron at a Bass Pro in FL that was willing to send it to Manteca BPS, but I guess that can't happen...it was $599!!! I have $600 in Bass Pro Shops gift cards, so that would have been ideal.

I guess I will have to look into an SSE. glenntuc, where is 2a Zone?

Just because it doesn't have an LCI doesn't mean it's not ca compliant. Just because the model number doesn't have -ca at the end on wigs website they don't show it as a CA model. Ask bass pro if they will handle the transfer

You can always get it via SSE

The guy in Manteca said he would not handle it if it was off-roster (which the Nitron is).

I'm going to see about getting one PPT, who knows, maybe someone would bite on a trade for my $500 BPS gift card!

In general about how much extra does it cost to do a SSE vs buying an on-roster equivalent?
