Single stack, steel or alloy frame, subcompact , 9mm

What else is out there in a 9mm single stack steel or alloy frame, non 1911? Several kahr models, kimber solo, remington r?? meet the criteria. It looks like almost anything can be Single shot exemted , surely there must be some other options that I am missing?

EDIT - dropped compact from title- subcompact only

Try looking for a used S&W 639, single stack stainless 9mm.
I used to have one, wish I kept it.

Thank you for the suggestions. All three are bigger than I want. I think what I am looking for falls into the subcompact category. How do I edit my title?

If a used pistol is OK the Ruger P89 meets your three requirements.

Maybe you can find a NIB P89.

A S&W Shield would seem to fit your needs.

OP said steel or alloy frame, shield is polymer.

I went with a p239 and couldn't be happier. As you want something smaller I'd suggest a p938.

                  I once owned a Beretta 92F Compact Type M. A single stack 9mm Beretta.

Rohrbaugh R9 is the only other one I can think of off the top of my head that hasn't been mentioned.

When it comes to small steel guns, I like the Kahr K9.

Very nice. I had no idea there was a compact 92. Looks a little bigger than I am looking for for this purchase , but would definitley like to check one out.
The Rohrbaugh looks promising but I have never seen one.
I liked the Kahrs i've handled but have not shot one yet and think I want a manual safety.
The perfect pistol would be similar to a Colt 1903 in 9mm with a bit shorter barrel.

The Beretta 92 compact isn't really compact and it's not single stack. It's a 92 with a shortened grip. Regular 92 mags fit in it.
