Glock 20 SF

I have the G20SF. The only upgrades I've applied are:

Trijicon TFO sights
Glock (-) connector
KKM .40 S&W barrel when shooting .40 ammo (if you don't think this is necessary, that's not my issue as they're your hands)
Pistol light (tested with both a TLR-1 and an Insight M3X, none of the issues that plague G22s with lights)

The recoil of most 10MM rounds is the same as the .40, but feels softer in the larger frame pistol. Full power 10MM is good, clean, loud FUN! If I were going to run full power 10MM all the time, I would invest in a heavier recoil spring. That would be the only other mod I'd want.

The spring will cycle my lightest 40S&W loads out of the same gun, although the brass does land pretty close by.

When shooting outdoors, this is a good thing (for me at least). I like finding a nice little pile of my 10mm brass just off to my side.

Op: The recoil on a G20 is considerably less than on a G29. I have the latter. As for upgrades, I prefer to keep all my Glocks pretty much, stock. Though, you can make a Race gun out of anything or tact it out as desired.

Everyone else: Ok, ok. given the lil' run on Glock " 10's. "... who's got some 10 mm ammo to sell. The good stuff, I mean.

Went to check out a 29 today.. I didnt like it at all.. too small for my hands and I thought about the finger extension but it just didn't feel comfortable so imma hold out for a 20 instead.. I think I would prefer full size anyways.

I love my stock Glock 20 Gen 4 up until it forgets to feed the last round, but I can deal with 9 rounds of 10mm.

I am now very interested in a Glock 29 Gen 4. Does it handle recoil fairly well seeing as it only weighs about 4oz less than big brother?

Lol what is "smalish"?Can't believe i typed that out.That's what i get for typing with one hand and handling KFC Original recipe with the other.But it does have a way of making you handle the grip as efficiently as possible,it is a rather powerful, but again,manageable recoil.I only run Underwood,to me that is the point of 10mm,though i keep a box of rather tame Hornady for indoors,home defense.Lucky,wish i could shoot a Gen 2 or 1,to compare to Gen 3 and 4.

I'm a big fan of 135 grain Noslers at a little over 1600fps, out of my 6" KKM barrel.

I've loaded some 180's that shoot great, but haven't gotten a chance to chrono them yet.

I'm waiting for Glock to make a G34/35 version of a G20.

I'm pretty much a noob and longer sight rad of G34 seems to really help.
